New Jersey's dream girl, Glam walked out on a magazine photo shoot yesterday throwing away a 5,000 dollar check. Her publicist, Vanessa Jasey of NJOT PR firm responded to us reporting she was very unhappy with the hair stylist and make up artist. The story is this, when Glam's management company originally booked her for the job, they explained to the magazine Glam couldn't wear certain makeup and she would only shoot if she didn't have to have her hair weaved or wear a wig. The magazine agreed to the terms but when Glam arrived to do the job, they didn't have the proper make up and they tried to talk her into having her hair weaved.
Vanessa Jasey explained further that "Glam Gyrl has decided she's not wearing weaves and wigs anymore when she has very beautiful hair of her own. The glue irritates her scalp and it's damaging her own hair. She doesn't wear make up unless it's for a job but she can only wear certain brands or it will tragically break her out. Glam felt the check was not worth damaging her hair or breaking out. She left because no one was trying to rectify the situation instead they were trying to talk her into something she wasn't going to do".
Question, do you think Glam Gyrl did the right thing? For a 5,000 dollar job for a couple of hours posing would you have stayed or walked out? I honestly believe Glam Gyrl did the right thing and we love her for it. She stood her ground and didn't let money or people change her mind. Stand your ground Glam Gyrl we're behind you.
Our little princess Aiyana Jones who was killed by the Detroit police department has been laid to rest. Industry Gems would like to express their deepest condolences and sympathies to the family, friends and loved ones of this little princess. Now let's see if justice is served properly for our little princess someone needs to be held accountable for this. Justice must be served.

The movie Just Wright starring Queen Latifah and rapper Common was a flop at the box office. This is the reason why we need to get out there and support our people. One of the reasons why our black actors can't get leading roles in big budget movies nor the budgets is because they believe we can't sell based off of our box office numbers. So people I ask of you to please stop buying bootleg and support our people where it matters. Go spend the money where it counts and that's at the box office.

Glam Gyrl, a model, actress, radio personality on New 105.5I The Heat and a entrepreneur. She's been in the entertainment industry since a teenager. You've seen her in print ads, music videos, magazine spreads, she's walked various runways with top models and performed in many plays on and off broad way, she has also acted in many film and television shows as lead or extra. She has a movie playing in Russia and can't speak the language at all but was hired by a top Russian director because of her acting ability and personality.
If you go back and look at various videos, magazines, shows, etc. you'll notice her. She has a talent to pull off looking different all the time. I actually watched a Jay-Z video recently and noticed her. Then I saw an old ad for the Gap and noticed her there as well. She just looks like a Caucasian girl. You will really have to know her and the various looks she has to catch on that it's definitely her because she switches her style up constantly.
Currently Glam Gyrl is in negotiations for a three picture movie deal, a reality show and a syndication deal for her radio show. She is back modeling and acting in NYC all while negotiating these deals.
Glam Gyrl born and raised in Newark, NJ definitely has the "IT" factor and although she has accomplished so many things in the industry, she has been able to maintain a low profile up until recently. Glam Gyrl had taken a two year hiatus from the industry and now that she's back, she hasn't been able to maintain the low profile she's used to. We hope because of this, she will be able to handle all the attention she's getting. Although Glam Gyrl has the "IT" factor, one thing about her I have noticed in public is she is very unique. She's an angelic spirit. She makes you feel comfortable being around her because of her beautiful smile. She's fun, loving and approachable. Most celebrities and people with the "IT" factor are never usually like this. I'm hoping she maintains her original self throughout the rest of her career.

What we don't understand is there are so many other female singers with videos in which they gyrate, hump and grind half naked in them and no one has pulled those videos off nor refused to play them. So why are they giving our girl Ci Ci a problem? Play the video. She's just as sexy and pretty if not better looking than those who have done these types of videos in the past. Janet Jackson was spotted in London with her hair very short. I must admit I think she looks good with short hair. But the question is, did she really cut her hair off or did she just take the weave out? Either way Janet is still a diva. I could care less if her hair is short or long. Terrence Howard was seen with his new wife a few days ago at the Cannes Film Festival although everyone thought she was just a lady friend accompanying him. Terrence broke the news to CNN's Anderson Cooper while making his promo rounds that it was the best feeling in the world to be with his wife . Glad to see Terrence is giving marriage another shot. Either way, Toya has tried her hand at spitting on the "Bedrock remix". Is she going to get into rapping? Who knows but I'm hoping she's not.
